Rustic Elegance at the Streamsong Resort

Sara and Josh’s wedding day beautifully told the story of their warm romance. To reflect their love of the outdoors, the wedding exuded rustic elegance with a collection of masculine and feminine details.

Their black-tie event was held at the Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Florida. The secluded location of the resort provided a beautiful natural background for portraits and the resort itself is a breathtaking modern design. With a plethora of windows in the lodge setting and reception room, the resort allowed for a ton of natural light, which was perfect for capturing each moment of their day.

Sara’s dress is an ivory, lace mermaid style with a tulle skirt designed by Anne Barge. She carried a cascading bouquet of white and red roses. Josh wore a Vera Wang tuxedo from Jos A Banks. With her father, Sara walked down the Commons Hall Terrace stairs to the ceremony on the Commons Lawn. The aisle was lined by white floral arrangements with pops of merlot set in wooden boxes. The white, merlot, and natural wood textures were repeated throughout the day with the ceremony and reception décor.

The reception was held in the Canyon Lake Room. Sara and Josh rented farm tables to bring the rustic feel to the elegant room lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. The room also housed a wine cellar, which perfectly incorporated the rented wooden wine barrels that were used as cocktail tables.
