Rustic Vintage Wedding at the Women’s Club of Winter Park – Colleen and Josh

Rustic Vintage Wedding at the Women’s Club of Winter Park- Colleen and Josh

Winter Park is definitely a gem in the Greater Orlando area. Colleen and Josh included some of the areas best venues for their wedding day. Colleen and her lovely bridal party began the day at the beautiful Alfond Inn in Winter Park, FL right down the way from Rollins College. The bridal party then proceeded to the college’s incredible Knowles Memorial Chapel for the ceremony. High cathedral ceilings gives the chapel the quintessential old world feel. The celebration continued at the Women’s Club of Winter Park. Established in 1915, this venues historical architecture was perfect for the rustic vintage feel that Colleen and Josh were wanting for their wedding.

From the Bride: My theme evolved throughout the planning process, but it ended up being a rustic vintage theme. I really love outdoor weddings, but didn’t want to risk the Florida weather. Instead, I found a venue that had indoor and outdoor space and brought the outdoors in with some market lighting and greenery in my flowers. My color palette was navy, cream, and sage green. My favorite added touch to my wedding had to be the french country chairs. We also used a lot of tree slices, mason jars with vintage lace wrapped around them (from my friend’s grandmother), and lanterns with candles.
