Sage and White Wild Acre Villa Wedding – Megan and Raven
Wild Acres Villa was the backdrop of Raven and Megan’s wedding. This outdoor loving couple fell in love with the venue’s beautiful scenic grounds. With only 12 weeks to plan the wedding, since Raven was heading off to the army, their family really stepped up to make the day possible. Megan’s mom made her beautiful dress, her grandfather made the wooden signs, and her grandmother made delicious jelly as favors for their guests. Sage, white, and tan were the main colors with pops of emerald and gold. The couple celebrated their union under the moonlight with their family and friends.
From the Bride: Raven and I dated for almost four and a half years before we tied the knot. After signing papers to join the army, we decided to take a trip to Costa Rica before he began training. Little did I know that I’d return with a ring on my finger. He proposed in the pouring rain on a suspended bridge high above the rain forest tree tops. It was definitely swoon worthy, but I made him wait to put the ring on my finger until we were on stable land!
When we got back from our trip, we knew he was leaving soon so instead of waiting on the Army, we planned our entire wedding in 12 weeks. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of my family and friends. So many of them played a huge part in making our day happen. Having a best friend who is a wedding photographer definitely made it all the more possible and she kept me sane along the way.
