    What makes your venue unique?

A truly southern setting and our customer service! The 135-year-old Decklan Farmhouse is nostalgic of a time gone by. If you’re a sucker for Spanish moss, big beautiful Oaks and a truly old Florida feel then you’ve found the right venue. The newest addition is the Boathouse, our air-conditioned and fully enclosed barn. Open rafters and crystal chandeliers give an elegant feel to the space. We specialize in one event per day to completely focus and dedicate our attention to our client’s needs.

What style of wedding works best for your location?

We have the unique opportunity to host many different styles of events from rustic to vintage to glamorous. The setting of the reception space, the Boathouse, has a neutral color palette and lots of natural light is a perfect blank canvas!

Do you have a location(s) for a ceremony?

We have 2 locations for outdoor ceremonies at Up the Creek Farm. The Oak Cathedral is the most popular, with a shaded oak canopy created by our stately oaks. It overlooks the property while allowing guests the comfort of being on a natural paved stone surface. The Creekside ceremony location is a unique ceremony location situated on a creek peninsula surrounded by natural beauty.

How many guests will your venue hold?

We can accommodate up to 150 guests. Our weekend packages begin at a 100 guest minimum and are adjusted based on a final headcount.

    What are your catering requirements?

We work with a preferred selection of outside caterers allowing our clients to find the perfect match in regards to budget and style of cuisine. Clients can bring in their own alcohol served by their caterer of choice. Liability insurance is required for all events.

    What packages do you offer?

Up the Creek Farms packages differ based on our client needs. All of our packages include the necessities of ceremony seating, cocktail hour and reception tables, chairs and linens. Clients have the option to select linen colors, as well as utilization to a décor credit with our sister company, Crystal & Crates Vintage Rentals. We recommend our Premier Package if you have not booked a wedding coordinator yet. It allows you the ability to enjoy your wedding day while we handle the logistics of the timeline, set up, break down and vendor relations. We also have the unique ability to offer accommodations in the Decklan House, creating an amazingly exclusive style weekend designed for the bridal party to enjoy every aspect of the event!

What advice would you give brides when deciding on their wedding venue?

Setting a budget is one of the first things you should do. Are you paying for the wedding yourselves, or do you have family contributing? Next, come up with a rough idea of how many guests you think you will invite. This will help narrow down your search for venues. Finally, select a few important factors for your wedding. Is it that you get married in March, want an outside venue (but don’t want to sweat…), have to have “fido” as a ring bearer. Once you a few of these pieces, everything else will fall into place. Lastly, once you see the right venue, you’ll know!
