Navy Blue and Gold Bellewood Plantation Wedding - Tanya and Matt
Tanya and Matt's outdoor wedding at the beautiful Bellewood Plantation was full of navy, gray, and gold details and plenty of fun and laughter! Tanya looked gorgeous in a fitted lacy dress and carried a bouquet of white roses with pops of blue, while her bridesmaids were dressed in navy blue floor-length gowns. She and Matt said their I Do's under hanging lanterns and chandeliers with a giant oak tree sprawled behind them.
Guests made their way through an archway to the reception, which featured long, family-style wooden tables draped with floral garlands. Candles lit the tables, and market lights lit the reception tent as friends and family celebrated the newlyweds! Tanya and Matt's stunner of a cake struck the perfect balance between cleanly decorated and eye catching with gray icing ruffles, blue and gold stripes, and pretty floral accents. We love the joy on Tanya's face as she shared her first dance with Matt! Get more of this happy couple's story straight from Tanya below.
Matt and I originally met on a dating site, but I kept blowing him off. Finally on a week day he was sent home early from work for overtime and he called me and said "I am off work, I am going to get the kayaks. Just tell me where to meet you in an hour" so at that point I couldn't really blow him off from there. Basically from there it has been a three ring circus, lol.
Matt took me back to Ronald McDonald park in Sebastian where he convinced me to go kayaking. It was on a Sunday in August and a good ol' tropical storm. He lined the dock with candles, stood there in the pouring rain, thunder and lightening and got down on one knee.
Navy Blue and GOLD!!!! I wanted an elegant outdoor celebration resembling an Italian countryside family dinner. We made our table setup large to feel more comfortable with lots of greenery and white flowers.
