Let’s just say that Lisa and Donny’s wedding at Bella Collina in Montverde, Florida was magical. Everything from their love for each other to the joy that surrounded them was beautiful Lisa couldn’t have picked a more amazing dress! Seeing her get ready with her sister, bridesmaids and flower girls was so sweet. Donny and Lisa’s ceremony honored Donny’s Hawaiian heritage with a Lei Exchange, performed by his Auntie Holli. They were handcrafted in Hawaii and sent over just for their day. The reception was a blast, and the band None Other kept the party going!

Advice from Lisa, the bride:
What advice would you give other couples about the wedding planning process?
Not to stress out too much. Everything comes together in the end. The most important part is that you and your spouse agree on major decisions, support each other’s opinions and have fun! Also, we divided up different areas of the planning process that each of us would be responsible for. I knew Donny wasn’t super excited about selecting flowers or linens, so I didn’t stress him out about picking those out. But, he was involved in the reception music, cakes, and food we served. I got him involved and put him in charge of components of the wedding I knew he would appreciate having a say in and being in charge of. It worked for us to divide and conquer!
Is there any advice that you would give engaged couples about married life?
Marriage is about comprising, communicating with each other (effectively), and having compassion for each other. Also, never let the sun go down when things are unsettled between the two of you. Last, love each other through everything and have fun in life together.
